Finals...

I am at home right now studying for finals. I am so bored and I wish finals were already over with! This is my last blog for the semester! I was looking back on my blogs at I still can't believe how fast this semester went by! I was looking at the blog from the Clay Walker concert and it seems like just yesterday that I was at the rodeo! I have had a good semester so far and I hope my finals go well. Next semester I am going to be very busy just like I was this semester. 16 hours was a lot but I know that it was a smart idea so I can get out of school faster. Classroom technology was a fun class even though it was at 8 in the morning! Well, I need to get back to studying! Bye :)

Coming to an end!

This semester has gone by so fast! I can't believe it is almost over already. I have finals next week and I am not looking forward to them...I have three finals on monday which is going to be interesting lol. I am taking classes this summer as well so I am going to be very busy! I am hoping to graduate early but I changed my major to interdiciplinary studies so I will just graduate at the regular date :( well, I am working on a project right now so I have to go! I will only write one more blog before the semester is over!

Long Week

This week is going to be sooo busy...I have a project due Wednesday, a test Wednesday, and a paper due Thursday. I'm pretty stressed out about this week and I'm already ready for it to be over. We have off on Friday for Good Friday so I'm happy with that :). This semester has gone by so quickly. It seems like just yesterday that the semester was starting! Before I know it I will be graduating and teaching children at a school somewhere! I'm really excited about graduating and starting my career. I want to teach at a small school somewhere because I'm not a big fan of big schools. UMHB is a very small private school and I like that. At small schools you may not get paid as much but at least your class sizes will be smaller than a big school. Well, class is about to start!

Spring Break!

Wow! Its been a while since I have updated my blog! I was on spring break last week and it was sooo nice :) I pretty much just relaxed and slept all day lol. I got to see some of my friends which was really nice also. On Wednesday night I went to the Austin rodeo and saw Clay Walker! He was amazing and I'm so glad I got to see him! I took a lot of pictures as well. I have been really busy already my first week back...blahhh. I had to give a presentation Monday for my child development class and do homework for other classes. I wasn't ready to wake up for class on Monday morning AT ALL! Its already Wednesday night though so I am that much closer to Friday! Saturday I have to take an 8 hour CPR class for work...ughhh! It seems like I never have time even on the weekends anymore to just chill! Anyway, I need to go! Bye!

Child Development

This semester I am taking the education course child development. So far I am really enjoying the class. We are learning about the different stages of child development and it is very interesting to me! This course really makes me think about the different stages and I even see if the babies at work do what we talk about lol. Another interesting thing we talked about is the way that females and males learn differently. I haven't ever thought about this until we started talking about it in class and it is really intriguing. We learned that females process language on both sides of their brain and males only process it on one side. She talked about how this may cause problems when males learn to read and write. Anyway, this class is really interesting and if you haven't taken this class you will enjoy it when you do!

My Least Favorite Teacher...

Last semester I had the pleasure (NOT) of having one of the worst professors on campus. She was rude and on top of that she was a horrible professor. At first I didn't think the class would be too bad but I was sadly mistaken. It was an awful class and I did horrible in it. The professor would laugh at questions that students asked if she thought that we should know it (which was all the time). One time I got so fed up with her that when I asked a question and she laughed I said "Is that funny?". She didn't really say much when I asked her but I'm pretty sure she got the point. I wish she would just understand that some students will not ask questions if they know she is going to laugh at them. Anyway, that class was not a good experience for me last semester and I hope people who have her this semester have better luck than me! On a better note I have really good professors this semester! I am enjoying all of my classes and everything is going smoothly so far. I still need to work on my study habits a little but then again who doesn't lol. I am currently taking 16 hours which I think I mentioned in my other blog. I get to take a two hour nap after my 8:00 am class though which makes it really nice!

Home!

I am home for the weekend! I haven't been home in about two weeks so its nice to just chill and good to see my parents. I am really tired because we went out to eat last night and after we ate we went over to some friends. We were there really late and I'm surprised because usually my parents don't stay out that late! This weekend is almost over :( I wish it was longer! I didn't have one of my classes on Wednesday and Friday of last week which was really nice. This coming week is going to be a long week because its back to waking up early blah! Its not as hard for me to wake up early this semester though because I really like all of my classes. Last semester there were a few classes that I dreaded going to and it made it hard to wake up! Well, that's all I have to say for now! Bye! P.S. I was going to use hot pink font but the dang thing doesn't have hot pink! lol

I hate waking up early...

I hate waking up early but this computer class makes me laugh. The professor always has something to say that will make us laugh so it makes it more fun! This is my first blog besides myspace or facebook! How exciting! :) I am going to be a teacher and I am so excited. I can't wait to graduate and start teaching! This semester I am taking 16 hours and I am very busy! Well, class is almost over bye!
